1. Applications:

Valve Automation is extending used in petroleum, gas storage-transport, chemical industry,

    metallurgy, paper-industry, medicine, food industry and line break system so on. It can be used

in the explosion-proof according to the particular request. It is not only controlled on site but

also able to be central remotely controlled

 

2. Construction Features:

Valve Automation is come with a perfect performance pneumatic, electric motor, elect-hydro,

or pneumatic-hydro actuator, whose output torque characteristic, is much adaptable to the 

valve's actual torque characteristic. Those actuators are also designed as waterproof type that

can be installed not only indoors but also outdoors. Equipped with different control accessories

,  the valve may be operated with remote control, computerized control and adjustment, etc.

   The valve may also be mounted with manual device.

 

3. Type of Actuators:

 

a.   Piston Acting:

      Double Acting Type (DPA type)

Single Acting Spring Return Type (SPA Type)

 

      Actuator's frame:

1.       Scotch Yoke (quarter turn)

Scotch Yoke actuators are designed to operate ball, butterfly, plug and other

valves, which require heavy duty, quarter-turn movement for either on/off or throttling service.

This classic, compact design is available in the PA Range for low and high torque applications

are required. The standard symmetrical design is used for all Scotch Yoke actuators; the

more powerful canted version can also be specified for PA-GP and PA-GH Series models.

2.       Rack & Pinion (quarter turn)

Rack and Pinion Actuators are designed to operate ball, butterfly, plug

and other valves, which require a quarter-turn movement for either

on/off or throttling service.

Offering the most economical solution when valve torque requirements

are more or less constant throughout the stroke. They are available in

three main types - the RP, RH Series; and R Range.

 

3.       Linear (for gate, globe etc.)

 Our linear actuators offer the advantages of compact size, high performance

 and a  simple but highly reliable design, and are ideal for operating on/off

           and control functions of both globe and wedge gate valves.

b.       Electric valve actuators:

C.   Electro-hydraulic actuators

  • Our EH Range electro-hydraulic actuators offer a proven, versatile, quarter-turn or linear valve actuation solution. This fully self-contained design combines control and indication flexibility with a power unit containing an electrical motor, hydraulic pump and reservoir with an actuator.
  • The EH Range actuator package offers an alternative solution for applications that include critical fail-safe, ESD (emergency shut down), and high thrust or torque applications with an inadequate power supply.

        EH Range actuators are available for quarter-turn or linear

        applications in either double acting and spring return

        configurations.

4.  Gas Industry (Line break) Actuators (ESD)

           GO (quarter-turn) / GOL (linear) Gas-Hydro. Oil Combined System

  • The most desirable source of motive power for gas industry applications is often the pipeline gas itself. Our Gas-Hydro. Oil Combined System, a family of products designed to be powered by pipeline gas with either oil pressurization or direct gas methods
  • The prime movers in this family of pipeline gas driven actuators are the proven HPG (quarter-turn) and HPL (linear) actuators with an expanded range of cylinder sizes to cater to the relatively low pressures found in gas pipelines.
  • ESD quarter turn actuators are designed to provide direct mounted, compact, powerful fail-safe automation for a wide range of quarter turn valves and dampers.
  • ESD Linear actuators are designed to provide direct yoke mounted, powerful fail-safe automation for a wide size range of gate valves.

ESD Actuators eliminate the need for stored air, natural gas or nitrogen power sources; therefore field maintenance can be substantially reduced. They are always ready for emergency service and they can be frequently operated for normal automation duty

Our valve-mounted kits can offer a comprehensive service for the supply of valve

actuator assemblies, packaged to your requirements and stroke tested.

b. switch box and position indication

     The circa range of switch boxes for use on quarter turn

      valves and actuators.

      They are manufactured from durable polycarbonate. And may be used on

      actuators, valves, or in conjunction with a hand wheel or lever.

  • IP67, IP65, safe area operation.
  • Hazardous approval, explosion-proof for required, Exd. IIB and ATEX, CSA
  • Beacon/local indicator available
  • 4-20mA
  • V3 micro switches or inductive sensors
  • Namur 'fast fit' mounting
  • Open/Closed feedback sensors for multi turn valves are also available.
